TRADING STATEMENT
ZCI is currently finalising its results for the six months ended 30 September
2007, which will be released shortly. In this regard, shareholders are advised
that headline earnings per share will be between 20% and 30% lower than those
reported in the six-month period ended 30 September 2006.
This decrease is based on the results of Konkola Copper Mines Plc ("KCM") for
the same period and is mainly due to decreased operating margins at KCM.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors.
