TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements ("the Listings Requirements"),
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period
will be more than 20% different from that of the previous corresponding period.
In terms of the Listings Requirements, Conafex accordingly advises that it
expects that earnings per share for the financial year ended 30 September 2007
are likely to be between 0% and 20% above those of the comparative period of
last year, and headline earnings per share for the financial year ended 30
September 2007 are likely to be between 180% and 200% above those of the last
financial period.
Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been reviewed or
reported on by Conafex`s external auditors.
The preliminary announcement of the company`s results for the year ended 30
September 2007 is expected to be announced on 20 December 2007.
