DISPOSAL OF THE OPERATING SUBSIDIARY OF PALS: SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
INTRODUCTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 20 November
2007 and in the press on 21 November 2007 and 22 November 2007 regarding the
sale by Pals of Pals Clothing (Proprietary) Limited (`the transaction").
Following the implementation of the transaction, Pals will not meet all of the
listing criteria as set out in the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
since it will have no operating assets or operating business. The listing of
Pals shares will be terminated from the JSE with effect from Monday, 3 March
2008 if the transaction is unconditional and if an agreement regarding
acquisition of viable assets acceptable to the JSE, has not been entered into
and announced by Pals.

A circular containing details of the transaction, including a general meeting of
shareholders to be held at Pals` Offices, 97 Durham Avenue, Salt River, 7925 on
Monday, 14 January 2008, commencing at 11:00 in order to consider and, if deemed
fit, pass, with or without modification, the ordinary resolutions necessary to
give effect to the transaction detailed in the circular, has been posted to
shareholders today.
