Notice is hereby given, in terms of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.65 of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, of the award on 20 December 2007 of options in
respect of the company`s ordinary shares by executive directors and the company
secretary of Truworths Limited (a subsidiary of the company), as set out below.
The options have been granted in terms of the company`s share incentive scheme
at the strike price of R26.58 cents each, and although the options are
exercisable immediately at the discretion of the holders, the resulting shares
will vest over the next five years at the rate of 20% per year on the
anniversary date of the grant. The directors have collectively been given the
prescribed clearance to conduct the transactions, and each has a 100% direct and
beneficial interest in the options.
