Shareholders are advised that between 21 December 2007 and 24 December 2007,
Altron Chairman and Founder, Dr WP Venter disposed of 465,078 Altron
participating preference shares on the open market for a total sale
consideration of R19.998 million.
These shares represented 0.2% of the total issued share capital of Altron`s
participating preference shares and this transaction does not in any way impact
upon the Venter Family`s control of the Altron group which is maintained through
the voting ordinary share structure.
