Following the approval of the acquisition for stock of Ellerine Holdings
(constituent) by African Bank Investments (constituent) and notification from
the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the following changes:

African Bank Investments (South Africa, ZAE000030060, 6040776) will remain in
the index with an increased shares in issue figure of 793,104,537 and an
unchanged investability weighting of 100%.Ellerine Holdings (South Africa
ZAE000022752, 6201272) will be deleted from the index.Simmer and Jack Mines
(South Africa, ZAE000006722, 6809007) will be added to the index with a shares
in issue figure of 1,062,031,086 and an investability weighting of 75%.
