Changes to the board of directors
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are notified that Mr Hugo van Zyl has been appointed as a
non-executive director of SELCo with immediate effect.
Mr van Zyl qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and has been a private
client and corporate commercial business consultant since 1997. He is a non-
executive director of Dikhololo Share Block Company Limited, where he serves on
both the audit and legal compliance committee. Although no longer in private
practice as a registered accountant and auditor, he remains active in the audit
profession as an audit committee member, corporate social investment advisor and
compliance officer for several clients. He is also involved with the NGO sector
as corporate advisor to many membership driven organisations, as well as
charitable and religious organisations. Mr van Zyl`s expertise in compliance,
corporate governance and tax matters is certain to stand SELCo in good stead and
the company welcomes him to the board.
Mr Frederick Kawooya Sekandi has resigned as a non- executive director with
immediate effect. The board wishes to thank Mr Sekandi for his valuable
contribution.
