CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of
Miranda ("the board"),
Mr Karl Johannes Gribnitz (non-executive director) and Mr Thabo Vincent
Mokgatlha (non-executive chairman) have resigned from the board with effect from
16 January 2008.
Mr Wayne Albert Arthur Ison (46) has been appointed as Financial Director with
effect from 17 January 2008. Mr Ison has been Miranda`s Financial Manager since
2005 and is a natural successor.
Mr Alan Robert Thompson (53) has been appointed non-executive-chairman with
immediate effect. Mr Thompson has over 25 years financial experience, who
previously spent eight years as a risk manager at De Beers.
Mr Michael Cook (52) has been appointed to the board as non-executive director
with effect from 17 January 2008. Mr Cook will add value to the board from his
extensive experience in the mining insurance industry across Africa,
particularly diamonds.
