MANAGEMENT CHANGES ANNOUNCED AT ALEXANDER FORBES
Alexander Forbes has today announced the appointment of Nomkhita Nqweni as
Managing Director of the Alexander Forbes Financial Services Division with
effect from 1 March 2008. Incumbent Howard Walker assumes the Group`s Head of
Strategy and Development position.
Nqweni, who holds a BSc degree from Rhodes University and a Post Graduate
Diploma in Investment Management from RAU has been Deputy Managing Director in
the business since May 2007, where she has demonstrated considerable enthusiasm
and leadership, according to CEO Bruce Campbell.
"Nomkhita`s experience exemplifies our client-centric focus. Her knowledge and
commitment will inspire her teams to continue delivering products and solutions
of the highest standard, further entrenching our business as the industry
leader," said Campbell.
Prior to this appointment, Nqweni held other senior management positions in the
Alexander Forbes Group. At Investment Solutions she was responsible for Business
Development and helped develop strategy at Group level.
Campbell said Howard Walker will assist Nqweni with the transition into the new
financial year. "Howard has a wealth of experience in many facets of our
business and I am very excited with his appointment. He will work closely with
me to assist in achieving the substantial growth objectives of Alexander
Forbes."
