Appointment of Director
IPSA is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Rizelle Sampson, the CEO of
African Footprint Investment Holdings (Pty) Limited, as a non-executive director
of the Company with immediate effect.
Ms Sampson is a director of, and has an effective 17.25% shareholding in,
Amandla Energy Resources (Pty) Limited (formerly known as IMARA Energy
Resources) ("Amandla") which, in turn, holds an option to acquire 13,434,612
ordinary shares in the Company (being 15% of the current issued share capital)
from Metropolitan Asset Managers Limited.
Ms Sampson, who has extensive business and civil service experience, is a former
senior manager at the Ministry of Communications and Sentech Limited. She
started her career in the financial services sector and, since leaving
government in March 2003, has played a prominent and influential role in a
number of black economic empowerment transactions.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Earl, Chief Executive Officer of IPSA,

experience and knowledge of the government and business environment will be of
