Dr WP Venter disposed of 1 378 914 Altron participating preference shares on the
open market for a total sale consideration of R54.784 million.
These shares represented 0.58% the total issued share capital of Altron`s
participating preference shares and does not in any way impact upon the Venter
Family`s control of the Altron group which is maintained through the voting
ordinary share structure.
