FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
William Tell shareholders are advised that the negotiations referred to in the
cautionary announcement dated 30 January 2008 relate to the possible acquisition
by William Tell (or its nominee) of the businesses of Magnaboard SA (Pty)
Limited ("Magnaboard") and Formalchem SA (Pty) Limited ("Formalchem").
Magnabord manufactures and sells particle board and melamine faced board in the
Eastern Cape. Formalchem manufactures and sells formaldehyde resins to
Magnaboard and other parties in the Eastern Cape.
The parties are in the process of agreeing final terms and expect definitive
agreements to be signed shortly, whereafter a detailed announcement regarding
the transaction will be released on SENS and published in the press. The
transaction will be subject to conditions precedent, including the approval of
the Competition authorities.
William Tell shareholders are accordingly advised to continue exercising caution
in dealing in their shares until a further announcement is made.
