RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN AND APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRMAN
In compliance with Section 3, paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listing Requirements the
following is advised:
At the annual general meeting of Astral Foods Limited held today, Mr. J L (Jan)
van den Berg announced his retirement as director and chairman of Astral Foods
Limited with immediate effect. Mr. J J (Jurie) Geldenhuys will replace Mr. van
den Berg as chairman.
