Shareholders are advised that between 13 February 2008 and 15 February 2008,
Altron Chairman and Founder, Dr WP Venter disposed of 1 300 000 Altron
participating preference shares on the open market for a total sale
consideration of R46.8 million.
These shares represented 0.547% the total issued share capital of Altron`s
participating preference shares and does not in any way impact upon the Venter
Family`s control of the Altron group which is maintained through the voting
ordinary share structure.
