EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited advise that Cedric Savage has informed the
boards of his decision to take early retirement as an independent non-executive
director with effect from 14 May 2008.
Nedbank Group chairman Reuel Khoza thanked Mr Savage (69) for his contribution
to the boards since his appointment in 2002. "The group has truly benefited from
Cedric`s extensive corporate and board level experience. He has been a committed
director and has always participated actively in board and committee debates. We
wish Cedric well in his retirement."
