APPOINTMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Johannesburg, Thursday 21 February 2008. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited
(Harmony) is pleased to announce that Mr Ken Dicks has joined the Board as non-
executive director, effective 13 February 2008. Ken has 39 years of experience
in the mining industry, 37 of which were spent in gold mining, served in senior
management positions and has also served on the boards of a number of mining
companies.
