EASTERN PLATINUM LIMITED SCHEDULES YEAR END RESULTS CONFERENCE CALL
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2008) - Mr. Ian Rozier,
President and CEO of Eastern Platinum Limited ("Eastplats")
(TSX:ELR)(AIM:ELR)(JSE:EPS)reports that Eastplats will release year end results
on Monday March 31st, 2008 before the market opens and will host a telephone
conference call on the same day at 1:00pm PST (4:00pm EST) to discuss the
results. The conference call may be accessed by dialing 1-800-319-4610 in Canada
and the United States, or 1-604-638-5340 internationally.
The conference call will be archived for later playback until Monday April 7,
2008 and can be accessed by dialing 604-638-9010 or 1-800-319-6413 and using the
pass code 4219 followed by the number sign (#).
The Company has changed its year end to December 31 to conform to calendar
quarters, to align the Company`s earnings periods to other companies in the
mining sector and for clarification of reporting periods to the investment
community.
Based on a change of year end from June 30 to December 31, the Company will have
a transition year of 6 months from July 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 and
the Company`s new financial year will commence on January 1, 2008 and end on
December 31, 2008.
