Kagiso Media and Lagardere acquire Acceleration Media - Voluntary Announcement
Leading empowerment media group, Kagiso Media, and Lagardere Active Radio
International (LARI), a division of France`s Lagardere group, have acquired
South Africa`s premier online media agency, Acceleration Media, for an
undisclosed sum.
Acceleration Media is a specialist in online media strategy, planning and
buying, helping advertising agencies and marketers maximise their use of the
Internet. Its client base reads like the "who`s who" of South African companies.
Lagardere has been a strategic partner of Kagiso Media`s for several years,
through its subsidiary LARI and the two companies are shareholders in the
JacarandaFM and RadMark businesses.
This acquisition is likely to be earnings enhancing.
