Barloworld - Group executive appointment
Khanyisile Kweyama, (Khanya) has been appointed as Group Executive: Human
Resources and Transformation with immediate effect. She joins Barloworld from a
leading technology company and will report to Clive Thomson, Group CEO. Khanya
will be responsible for group human resources and organizational performance,
empowerment and transformation, and government and stakeholder relations. In
this capacity she has been appointed to the group executive committee.
With respect to empowerment and transformation, Khanya will assume Isaac
Shongwe`s current responsibilities so that he can focus exclusively on his role
as CEO of Barloworld Logistics Africa. Isaac will remain responsible for
corporate social investment until the end of the financial year, at which time
Khanya will also take over this responsibility.
