FACILITY IN GERMISTON
The directors of Interwaste Holdings are pleased to announce the receipt of the
record of decision from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation,
Environment and Land Affairs, which permits Interwaste to operate a solid and
liquid hazardous waste processing facility on the East Rand of Gauteng.
This is a strategic step, in line with the minimum requirements and the imminent
promulgation of the National Waste Management Bill, whereby Interwaste Holdings
will offer many more large industrial customers waste treatment alternatives
which are cost effective and in line with the hierarchy of waste management.
