EXTENSION OF OFFER AND EXCHANGE CONTROL UPDATE
EXTENSION OF OFFER DATE: DB X-TRACKERS MSCI WORLD INDEX ETF, DB X-TRACKERS
MSCI USA INDEX ETF AND DB X-TRACERS MSCI JAPAN INDEX ETF
Potential investors are referred to the initial offers (the "offers") set out
in the Third, Fourth and Fifth Supplements, dated 13 February 2008, to the
Offering Circular and Pre-Listing Statement issued on 19 September 2005 in
respect of db x-trackers and to the associated SENS announcements dated 14
February 2008.
The timetable in respect of each of the offers have been revised as follows:
Opening date of the initial offer: Wednesday, 13 February 2008
Closing date of the initial offer:# Monday, 17 March 2008
Ramp up period in respect of cash Tuesday, 18 March 2008
subscriptions commences:

# Applicants should consult their broker or CSDP to ascertain the timing
for submission of applications as this will vary depending on the broker
or CSDP in question.
* The duration of the rampup period may be extended depending on market
conditions, in which event the listing date will occur on a later date.
The changes in Exchange Control referred to below have resulted in new
categories of investors being allowed to access the offers. The period for the
offers has accordingly been extended as indicated in the timetable above to
afford these new categories investors adequate opportunity to participate in
the offers.
EXCHANGE CONTROLS AS APPLICABLE TO INVESTMENTS IN DB X-TRACKER SECURITIES
In the budget speech delivered by the Minister of Finance on Wednesday, 25
February 2008, certain changes were announced to South Africa`s Exchange
Controls, including that South African companies, trusts, partnerships and
banks will henceforth be permitted to participate without restriction in
investment in inward-listed (foreign) instruments on the JSE.
In accordance with the above, companies, trusts, partnerships and banks will
with immediate effect be entitled to participate without restriction in db x-
trackers securities as issued by any of the dbx portfolios.
