DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLO AMERICAN PLC HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("AGLIHC")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Anglo American plc
have declared a final dividend of R6.5461 per ordinary share payable on
Wednesday, 30 April 2008 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 14 March 2008.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities, AGLIHC
will receive an Anglo American plc final dividend of R6.5461 per dividend
payable on Wednesday, 30 April 2008, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated
in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 7 March 2008.
AGLIHC Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 10 March 2008, and the record date
will be Friday, 14 March 2008.
