CLOSING OF OFFER TO BLRT INVESTMENTS LIMITED SHAREHOLDERS AND RESULTS OF THE
OFFER
Shareholders of BLRT Investments Limited ("BLRT") are referred to the offer by
CET to acquire their shares in BLRT on the basis of 7 (seven) CET shares for
every 2 (two) BLRT shares made in the circular issued by CET to BLRT
shareholders dated 20 July 2007 ("the BLRT offer") and the subsequent
announcements published in relation to the BLRT offer.
The closing date of the BLRT offer was extended initially to 8 October 2007,
then to 8 December 2007 and finally to 28 February 2008.
BLRT shareholders are advised that the BLRT offer closed at 16h30 on 28 February
2008.
BLRT shareholders holding 498 220 BLRT shares (comprising approximately 11.18%)
have accepted the BLRT offer. Prior to the BLRT offer CET held 2 168 200 BLRT
shares (comprising approximately 48.65%). Accordingly CET now holds 2 666 420
BLRT shares (comprising approximately 59.83%).
BLRT shareholders who have accepted the offer will receive their CET
consideration shares within 7 days after the closing date referred to above to
the extent that they have not already received same.
