TRADING STATEMENT
ELB is currently finalising its results for the half year ended 31 December
2007, which should be released on SENS by approximately Friday, 14 March 2008.
In this regard, shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share
("HEPS") and earnings per share ("EPS") are likely to be 83 cents (2006 - 25
cents) and 90 cents (2006 - 4 cents) per share, respectively.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors. Where necessary,
comparative amounts have been reclassified in accordance with the classification
in the current reporting period.
