DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AVI SHARE
INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for AVI LTD and that as a
result of the dividend declaration relating to AVI LTD (AVI) the Trustees of the
AVI Share Instalment have declared a dividend amount of 33 cents per AVINIA
share instalment that is payable on Monday, 7 April 2008.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 28 March 2008. The share
instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 31 March 2008 and the
record date will be Friday, 4 April 2008.
No share instalment may be (1) subscribed for, or purchased by a Non-Resident or
(2) sold to a Non-Resident or (3) beneficially held or owned by a Non-Resident.
If notwithstanding the foregoing, any Non-Resident acquires or beneficially
holds or owns any share instalment, such Non-Resident will not be recognised by
the issuer and such Non-Resident shall have no rights or entitlements of
whatsoever nature under such share instalment.
