The company is authorised to announce, in terms of section 3.59 of the JSE
Listings Requirements, the appointment of Ms Connie Nkosi as a non-executive
director with effect from 10 March 2008.
Ms Nkosi is, amongst other things, executive chairman and major shareholder of
Lidonga Group Holdings, a black women`s investment company that is also a
shareholder in Protech. She is a non-executive director for Pick `n Pay Ltd, a
position she has held for the past 10 years, a director of PrimeServ Ltd and
chairman of First Technology (Pty) Ltd.
