WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements released on SENS on 8
November 2007, 14 December 2007 and 25 January 2008 relating to the potential
sale by Old Mutual plc ("Old Mutual") to Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Proprietary)
Limited ("RBH") of a controlling interest in Mutual & Federal. Shareholders are
advised that discussions between Old Mutual and RBH have been terminated as
commercial terms could not be reached between the parties. As a result, caution
is no longer required to be exercised by shareholders when dealing in their
securities.
