Competition authorities approve Protech`s R71,3 million Readymix deal and
conditions precedent are fulfilled
Protech is proud to announce that all conditions precedent pursuant the
acquisition of the INSTANT CONCRETE and ROCKCRETE businesses have been
fulfilled. The Competition Commissioner granted unconditional approval for the
transaction and this enables Protech to take full control of the operations and
assets of INSTANT CONCRETE and ROCKCRETE with effect from 1 March 2008. The new
combined ready-mix business will reside in the most recently formed Protech
subsidiary, Protech Readymix.
