Trading Statement
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported on will differ by at least 20% or more from those of the previous
corresponding period.
Alliance Mining has completed its 12 months of trading to 28 February 2008.
Shareholders are advised that Alliance Mining`s earnings and headline earnings
per share for the year ended 28 February 2007 is expected to increase to between
R1,25 and R1,35 cents per share, compared to 54,7 cents per share for the
previous financial year. This equates to an increase of by between 127% and 147%
over that of the corresponding period. The financial information on which this
trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Alliance
Mining`s auditors.
The results for the year ended 28 February 2008 are expected to be published on
SENS at the beginning of May 2008.
