Revised Trading Statement
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement published on SENS at 8:00
this morning.
In terms of the listing requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will not differ by 20% or more after completion of the
company`s year end audit.
Shareholders of Chrometco Limited are hereby advised that the board has reviewed
the financial results for the 12 months ended 29th February 2008 and would like
to draw shareholders attention to the following; the company has earned a net
profit of R 6,4 million for the period resulting from the receipt of a non-
refundable deposit of R 13million on the sale of its Rooderand chrome ore
reserve. This has resulted in a 130% improvement with the publication of
positive earnings per share of 3,41 cents for the current period against a
previously reported headline loss per share of (2,79) cents in 2007, an overall
improvement of 6,20 cents per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Chrometco`s auditors.
