such in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 (the
"Act")

DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being
Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have
resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities
recorded in the register in respect of the quarter ended 31 March 2008. This
distribution will:
- be an amount of 2,63 cents (two point six three cents) (R0,0263) per Satrix
SWIX TOP 40 security;
- be made to all holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities recorded in the
register on 4 April 2008;
- be effected on 7 May 2008.
The allocation between dividends and other income will be provided on 5 May
2008.
