TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a Trading Statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that
the financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by more
than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
Altech advises that it expects the company`s headline earnings per share for the
financial year ended 29 February 2008 to increase by between 20% and 25%
compared to the prior comparative period, using accounting policies consistent
with those used in the comparative period. The financial information on which
this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Altech`s
auditors.
The results for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to be published on
SENS on 23 April 2008.
