Merafe Resources is pleased to announce that not only has it been ranked the
second most empowered company on the JSE in the Financial Mail, Top Empowerment
Companies, 2008, it has also been ranked number one in the Resources sector of
the same survey.
These ratings are based on a ranking of ownership, management, employment and
socio-economic development.
This is the fifth annual Financial Mail, Top Empowerment Companies survey in
which the company has participated. Merafe was also placed first in the
Resources sector in 2006 and seventh in 2007.
