NET ATTRIBUTABLE ASSET VALUE OF THE VARIABLE RATE DEBENTURES AS AT 31 MARCH 2008
It is the company`s policy to report the net attributable asset value ("NAAV")
of the Foord Compass Limited Variable Rate Debentures ("the debentures") on a
calendar quarter basis. The NAAV as at 31 March 2008 amounted to 788.5 cents
per debenture (31 December 2007: 733.1 cents on an ex-interest basis). The
increase in the NAAV over the quarter reflects a total return on the debentures
of 7.6%. Debenture interest of 43.5 cents per debenture was paid to debenture
holders in February 2008 in respect of the final interest declaration for 2007
announced on 18 January 2008.
The board of directors will report the interim results for the six months ending
30 June 2008 in July 2008.
The Annual General Meeting of Debenture Holders is scheduled for 29 April 2008.
