TRADING STATEMENT - FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 29 FEBRUARY 2008
The Company is currently finalising its annual results for the year ended 29
February 2008. Shareholders are advised that both earnings and headline earnings
per ordinary share are anticipated to be between 25% and 35% lower than the
restated numbers reported in respect of the corresponding financial reporting
period. These restated numbers appeared in a SENS announcement released by the
Company on the 17th of December 2007. This results in anticipated earnings per
share between 68.9 cents and 79.6 cents and headline earnings per share between
69.5 cents and 80.3 cents. The final audited results for the year ended 29
February 2008 are expected be released on SENS on 13 May 2008.
Worldwide polymer shortages and resultant price increases, power interruptions,
slowing consumer spending and adverse weather conditions all negatively affected
results for the financial year.
The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors.
