Abridged annual results for the year ended 31 December 2007
FINANCIAL RESULTS - CLARIFICATION
Shareholders are referred to the abridged financial results for the Company,
as at and for the year ended December 31, 2007, released on SENS on 14 April
2008 in compliance with the listings requirements of the JSE Limited.
These abridged results include the numbers for the former BRC Diamond
Corporation only as the acquisition of Diamond Core Resources Limited (DCR)
was completed on 11 February 2008. The numbers for DCR were not included as
DCR was not a subsidiary of the Company as at this date.
Shareholders are advised that in terms of the applicable Canadian rules, the
Company is required to file on SEDAR (www.sedar.com) a "Business Acquisition
Report" (BAR) by 26 April 2008. The BAR will include a pro-forma balance
sheet as at 31 December 2007 and a pro-forma statement of operations and
deficit for the year ended 31 December 2007 for the newly constituted group.
Shareholders are further advised that the Company`s quarterly financial
statements and management`s discussion and analysis for the three months
ended 31 March 2008, which will be published by 15 May 2008 in terms of the
applicable Canadian rules. These quarterly financial statements and
management`s discussion will be in respect of the newly constituted group and
will include all numbers for all subsidiaries.
