TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that
the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least
20% or more from those of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Blue is currently finalising its results for the
year ended 29 February 2008. Blue`s earnings and headline earnings are expected
to increase by between 70% to 80% and 30% to 40%, respectively, over those of
the year ended 28 February 2007. Earnings per share and diluted earnings per
share for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to increase by between
30% to 40% and 40% to 50%, respectively, over those of the year ended 28
February 2007. Loan advances (loan book size) are expected to increase by
between 130% to 140% over those of the year ended 28 February 2007.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Blue`s auditors.
The audited results for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to be
published on SENS by the end of May 2008.
