CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The company is pleased to announce the appointment of the following directors to
the board with effect from 21 April 2008:
Mr Jack Colin Human
Colin is a chartered accountant, with extensive business experience. He has
occupied various senior management positions in both public and private
companies. He is currently a director of a number of listed and private
companies. In addition, he is Chairman of Queensgate Hotel and Leisure, a
listed JSE company. He is also Managing Director of GoalFix (Proprietary)
Limited, a financial management consultancy, which operates in all aspects of
corporate finance, and specifically in the arena of corporate performance
improvement, financial health assessments, and building of complex financial
models. In addition, he lectures internationally in "Advanced Excel
Techniques", "Advanced Corporate Financial Modelling" and "Excel Project
Modelling" on behalf of various international training companies.
Mr Sandile Swana
Sandile was born in Johannesburg and matriculated at St John`s College, Umtata.
He completed a BComm degree under the Anglo American Scholarship Programme at
Wits University, Johannesburg and later completed the Business Advisors
Programme at WBS-Centre for Developing Business. He holds an MBA from the
University of Pretoria as well as a B.Th in Ethics from UNISA. He has received
sponsorship from the Department of Transport for part of the degree Honors
B.Comm (Logistics) at UNISA which he completed. Sandile has prepared and
presented conference papers for IPSA, Supply Chain Council and SAPICS. He spent
seven years in the retail sector with Caltex Oil and Zenex Oil where gained
experience in business planning, oil retail and general management. He has also
worked as group operations manager for the JSE listed, Don Group. He is non-
executive Director of JSE listed Aflease Gold, Matodzi Resources and ConvergeNet
Holdings and is a member of the Institute of Directors.
Mr Martin Deon van Rooyen
After qualifying as a chartered accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), Deon
served as an auditor and as a member of the PWC audit-, corporate finance and
management consulting team for a further ten years. He then joined a leading
commercial group with substantial interests in several listed and private
companies as a member of their specialised turnaround team. Three years later,
Deon decided to form his own consulting practice. His passion for the renewed
South Africa, directly led to an involvement in various black empowerment groups
in South Africa. At present, Deon is part of an international investment team
that specialises in structured finance and the strategic management of corporate
assets. He is also a director of various companies in South Africa.
The appointment of a new company secretary will be announced shortly.
