TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that is Sanyati currently finalizing its results for
the twelve months ended 29 February 2008 and are advised that Sanyati`s earnings
and headline earnings per share for this period would exceed the earnings and
headline earnings per share for the twelve months ended 29 February 2007 by
between 75% and 95%. Furthermore, the earnings and headline earnings per share
for the twelve months ended 29 February 2008 will also exceed the revised
forecast issued by Sanyati on SENS on 18 May 2007 by between 15% and 25%. The
financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Sanyati`s auditors.
The results for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to be published on
SENS by the end of May 2008.
