WITHDRAWAL OF SALIENT DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 18 April 2008
and are advised that the salient dates in respect of the proposed debenture
redemption and special dividend are hereby withdrawn with a view to avoid
possible hardship in respect of over the counter purchasers (the linked units in
Emergent being suspended) of Emergent linked units who may be unaware of the
announcement of 18 April 2008 or the implications thereof.
Amended salient dates will be announced in due course, which dates will coincide
with that of the general meeting to be held in order to approve the acquisition
as detailed in the announcement of 18 April 2008.
