Anglo Platinum is pleased to announce the granting of new order mining rights
over the following Anglo Platinum mining operations:
Rustenburg - 8 licences
Amandelbult - 1 licence
Union - 2 licences
Lebowa - 2 licences
Mogalakwena - 1 licence
Twickenham - 1 Licence
Der Brochen (including Mototolo) - 1 licence
In 2007 approximately 85% of Anglo Platinum`s refined platinum output originated
from mining areas covered by the converted mining rights.
The applications for conversion of mineral rights associated with Anglo
Platinum`s 50:50 joint ventures with Royal Bafokeng Resources and the African
Rainbow Minerals consortium continue and are being processed based on joint
submissions and representations by all stakeholders.
