Shareholders of Protech are advised that Protech`s previous sponsors, Ernst &
Young Sponsors (Pty) Limited, has given notice that it no longer has the minimum
number of JSE Approved Executives required in terms of the JSE Listings
Requirements, and therefore cannot continue to offer this service.
Deloitte & Touche Sponsor Services (Proprietary) Limited has been appointed as
sponsor for the Company, in terms of paragraph 2.6 of Section 2 of the JSE
Listings Requirements, with effect from 1 May 2008.
