CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SEA KAY
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
notification is hereby given of the appointment of Gerhardus Olivier CA (SA), to
the board, as Group Financial Director, due to the recent growth experienced by
Sea Kay.
The previous financial director, Karin van der Vyver, who was actively involved
in the listing process, will now focus as the Financial Director of Sea Kay
Engineering Services (Pty) Limited, the company`s wholly-owned main subsidiary.
The shareholders are therefore advised that, with effect from 5 May 2008:
- Gerhardus Olivier is appointed as executive Group Financial Director of the
company and
- Karin van der Vyver resigned as the executive Financial Director of the
company.
Gerhardus Olivier completed his articles with Deloitte and moved into commerce
where he gained experience in financial management. Gerhardus was employed as
Chief Financial Officer of BIC South Africa, a subsidiary of the NYSE Euronext
(Paris) listed BIC Group, before joining Sea Kay.
The directors of Sea Kay welcome Gerhardus to the board and look forward to a
long and mutually beneficial working relationship.
