Appointment of director and restructuring of the Board
TeleMasters is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jaco Voigt as
independent non-executive director of the Company with effect as from 12 May
2008. Mr. Mario Pretorius was appointed Chairman of the board with effect from 5
May 2008.
Mr Voight matriculated at Outeniqua High School George in 1992 and obtained a
Bachelor of Social Sciences in 1996 from University of the Orange Free State.
He started his career in the communications industry at DataPro in 1998 and held
various management positions in the organization - culminating as founder and
Managing Director of VoxTelecom. VoxTelecom was the pioneer of VoIP service
provision in South Africa.
Jaco left VoxTelecom in 2007 to start PerfectWorx Consulting, a specialist
consulting outfit providing professional services to communication operators
entering the Next Generation Network realm. PerfectWorx Consulting currently
provides services to a wide range of players in the telecoms industry, ranging
from incumbent operators to various VANS operators.
The board look forward to the experience, knowledge and insight which he will
bring to the board.
