Trading statement
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial
results for the current reporting period will differ by at least 20% from the
financial results for the previous corresponding period. Eureka`s shareholders
are hereby notified that its earnings per share for the twelve months ending 29
February 2008 is expected to be between 80% and 85% lower than the audited
results for the year ending 28 February 2007. Eureka`s shareholders are also
notified that the headline earnings per share for the twelve months ending 29
February 2008 is expected to be between 70% and 75% lower than the audited
results for the year ending 28 February 2007.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors and there is therefore no sign
off by the auditors on this trading statement.
The results for the year ending 29 February 2008 are expected to be published
before the end of May 2008.
