Further to the FTSE/JSE notice issued on 8th May 2008 in relation the demerger
of Eqstra Holdings (South Africa) from Imperial Holdings (South Africa) and in
accordance with the demerger rule, FTSE and the JSE announces the following
changes:
INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING
FTSE/JSE Africa Mid Cap (J201)
Eqstra Holdings (South Africa, ZAE000117123, B02QMYF6) will remain in the index
with a shares in issue figure of 212,129,870 and an investability weighting of
100%.
Avusa (South Africa, ZAE000115895, B2QHHR4) will be deleted.

Avusa will be added to the index with a shares in issue figure of 104,189,314
and an investability weighting of 100%.
