Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the above TOPIRQ, Barrier Put Warrants
(REVS), would like to advise holders that due to the breach of the stop loss
level of 30,000 in the Underlying Index, at the close of business on Thursday, 8
May 2008, the abovementioned Barrier Put Warrant (REVS) has been terminated.
Holders are now entitled to receive the Rebate Payment, represented by the
number of TOPIRQs held on the termination date, multiplied by the excess of the
Strike Price of 35,000 points over the simple average of the Volume Weighted
Average Price ("VWAP") of the Underlying Index over the two Business Days
following the Termination Date. This amount will automatically accrue to
holders via instruction through STRATE.
The VWAP Average of ALSI (Friday, 9 May 2008) = 30159.3026 points
The VWAP Average on ALSI (Monday, 12 May 2008) = 30147.8557 points
The 2 day VWAP average = 30153.5792 points
Rebate payment of R48.46
Holders will receive R48.46 for every warrant held.
