Updated Trading statement
Shareholders are referred to the updated trading statement published on SENS on
28 March 2008.
Shareholders are advised that the group`s headline earnings per share for the
year ended 29 February 2009 is expected to be at least 35% higher, at
approximately 4,7 cents per share and approximately 75% higher than the forecast
published in the pre-listing statement dated 30 November 2006.
Shareholders are further advised that the group`s earnings per share for the
year ended 29 February 2009 is expected to be at least 15% higher, at
approximately 4 cents per share and approximately 45% higher than the forecast
published in the prelisting statement dated 30 November 2006.
The difference is due to a higher effective tax rate than the previous period
due to the complete utilization of assessed losses as well as the impairment of
certain investments in accordance with IFRS.
The board expects to publish the final results on or about 28 May 2008.
