CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa, notification is hereby given that William
Marshall-Smith has been appointed as a non-executive director to the board of
directors with effect from 13 May 2008.
William, a chartered accountant, was involved in the final stages of the
formation of Blackstar Investors plc and is a director of Blackstar Fund
Managers. His appointment to the board follows from the R 100 million funding
agreement entered into between Credit-U and Blackstar Investors plc. He is also
a director of the Kulungile Metals Group and was formerly a director of York
Timbers Limited. William brings his experience gained on these boards and his
involvement in the investment process of Blackstar Investors plc since its
formation to the Credit U board.
The directors are pleased to welcome William to the board and are looking
forward to a long and valued working relationship.
