TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported on will differ by at least 20% or more from the financial results for
the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that PSV is currently finalising its results for the
year ended 29 February 2008 and anticipates the following increases in basic
earnings per share, headline earnings per share and core earnings per share
(defined as headline earnings excluding IFRS 2 and IFRS 3 adjustments):
Expected increase
over 2007 results
Basic earnings per share 80% - 90%
Headline earnings per share 5% - 10%
Core earnings per share 15% - 20%
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The company`s results for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to be
published on SENS on or about Tuesday 20 May 2008.
